OECM Joins Canadian Collaboration for Sustainable Procurement (CCSP) Working Group

June 26, 2025

In September 2023, OECM announced that we joined the Canadian Collaboration for Sustainable Procurement (CCSP). CCSP is a non-profit organization addressing and advancing environmental, social, Indigenous, and ethical opportunities and risks in the Canadian public supply chain. Members of CCSP meet to connect, exchange ideas, and collaborate on innovative tools and technologies to efficiently tackle ESG issues that directly and indirectly impact the procurement landscape. Partnering with CCSP aligns with OECM’s commitment to fostering and promoting a more sustainable supply chain with minimal impact on our environmental and social spheres.

This year, members of OECM’s Strategic Sourcing and Business Development teams, Luba Medvedeva, Business Development Lead, and Deepali Vasisht, Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing, joined CCSP’s Working Group. The Working Group is comprised of CCSP member volunteers interested in working together throughout the year to advance thought leadership and create a specific deliverable(s) on a topic of mutual interest. This year’s topic is ‘Monitoring Sustainability Metrics in Contract Management’.

Being part of this group provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with peers across Canada and help shape practical approaches for integrating sustainability metrics and requirements into contract management, while developing tools that can benefit CCSP members and broader community.
